Reviews incomplete mortgage loss-mitigation packages and accounts approaching foreclosure sale dates. Conducts quality reviews of Document Specialists’ work, verifies document uploads, identifies missing borrower information, issues status letters, updates systems, and communicates file status with underwriting, mediation, litigation, foreclosure, and SPOC teams. Maintains accurate records, reviews daily reports, responds to inquiries, and ensures compliance with processing timelines and quality standards.

Writes and updates SEO-optimized, audience-focused mortgage and financial content. Conducts research, uses data journalism, fact-checks and sources information, follows regulatory requirements, applies brand voice and SEO practices, and meets production deadlines. The role is an individual contributor for college students pursuing relevant bachelor’s degrees, requiring strong writing, communication, analytical, and detail-oriented skills.

Reviews FHA, VA, and GSE claims for accuracy, compliance, and loss reduction. Analyzes insurer curtailments, prepares supplemental claims and loss analysis reports, supports government claims audits, reviews audit findings, processes write-offs, and serves as a claims compliance subject matter expert. The role also coordinates with vendors and internal teams to ensure invoicing and remittance policies are followed.

Reviews defaulted loans and acquired properties to recommend disposition strategies, charge-offs, and loss-mitigation actions. Analyzes property risks, claims data, financial outcomes, and high-risk circumstances; develops chronologies and written recommendations; presents decisions to leadership and investors; updates systems of record; and coordinates execution with internal default departments.
