Summary:
The Senior Motion Designer will work on a variety of projects with a primary focus on the ideation and creation of motion graphics, animations, micro-interactivity, etc. to be utilized in digital advertising, banner ads, email campaigns, websites and social media posts in support of building awareness and driving leads to grow the business. The Senior Motion Designer should be able to create strategically driven and engaging kinetic brand expressions that are both on brand and differentiated from competition. As part of our In-House Agency, you would ideally have experience in the mortgage industry. Prior agency experience is preferred. Will also assist in the development of event and promotional materials. Should be a self-starter, capable of concepting and developing fresh ideas, maintain a high level of attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. A strong eye for visual nuance, excellent animation experience and typographic sensitivity are a must.
Essential Job Functions may include:

Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for a variety of projects, including marketing campaigns, product launches, brand videos, websites and branding initiatives.

Develop storyboards, style frames, and animations to communicate design concepts effectively.

Translates brand strategy into motion principles and activations, using a deep understanding of the brand to inform all design decisions.

Uses creative thinking to solve difficult challenges, coming up with innovative solutions that meet business needs while maintaining brand standards.

Possesses the ability to develop concepts in a media-agnostic manner and across a variety of business needs while adhering to brand standards.

Ensures consistency of visual brand tone across digital customer touch points.

Has a high bar for creative excellence and ability to push new ideas forward.

Produce visually engaging content that aligns with brand guidelines and project objectives.

Collaborate with designers, video editors, marketers, and other stakeholders to bring ideas to life.

Provide mentorship to junior designers, offering guidance and constructive feedback.

Present ideas and deliverables to business partners and internal teams, incorporating feedback to refine designs.

Maintain organized project files and documentation for efficient workflow and future reference.

Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and techniques in motion design and animation.

Utilize software such as Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, and other industry-standard tools to execute projects.

Optimize motion graphics and edit videos for various platforms, ensuring performance and compatibility.

Maintain consistency and cohesiveness across all brand systems.

Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple brands and their systems simultaneously, ensuring that each one is executed to the highest standard.

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Design Degree from a Two (2) or Four (4) year College or University and five (5) to seven (7) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.

Detail oriented in proofing creative artwork.

A strong portfolio demonstrating digital design, brand identity and campaign work.

Ability to project manage multiple creative workstreams across various completion dates.

Written and verbal skills to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams and vendors.
Skill and or Licensing/Certification/Registration:
This position does not require professional licensing, certification, or registration.
