Leads a data engineering team, owning Snowflake-centered architecture, scalable data pipelines, ELT patterns, data modeling, security, performance, and cost governance. Provides hands-on technical guidance while managing planning, backlogs, capacity, roadmaps, delivery, mentoring, and department operations. Partners with Analytics, DBAs, and IT leadership to translate business needs into durable solutions, promote self-service analytics, maintain documentation, manage budgets, and evaluate emerging data technologies.

Develop sales and demand forecasts, analyze seasonality and inventory data, establish safety stock and SKU targets, and optimize replenishment from distribution centers to stores. The role tracks forecast, inventory, variability, and backorder KPIs; executes purchase orders; monitors vendor shipping windows; collaborates with buyers, planners, suppliers, and internal teams; and supports process improvements.

Leads sourcing strategy, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, commodity market analysis, cost forecasting, and hedging strategies. Owns category supply continuity, supplier performance, and commercial terms while partnering with Demand Planning, Culinary, Quality Assurance, Menu Strategy, and Finance. Drives cost, quality, service, risk mitigation, and supply chain improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Leads corporate tax compliance, audits, tax accounting, planning, and reporting across federal, state, local, franchise, sales, property, and business taxes. Oversees ASC 740 tax provisions, deferred taxes, financial disclosures, projections, and tax-related systems. Develops tax optimization strategies, manages regulatory developments and audits, supervises the tax department, oversees budgets and personnel actions, and advises senior executives on tax matters.

Investigates employee relations and employment law claims, advises field management on policies, personnel decisions, accommodations, discipline, and terminations, and ensures regulatory compliance. Conducts management training, drafts policy and training materials, facilitates issue resolution, recommends corrective actions, and supports legal discovery and hearings. Requires strong communication, mediation, analytical, presentation, organizational, and project management skills.

Design, develop, evaluate, and improve blended learning programs for adult learners in a business environment. Partner with management to identify training needs, create manuals, activities, media, simulations, and course content, and measure performance impact and ROI. Educate training personnel on instructional design practices, maintain course documentation, and support implementation projects. The role requires strong communication, presentation, instructional design, visual design, video creation, and behavior-change experience.

Owns Cracker Barrel’s web, mobile web, and native app properties as the day-to-day business leader. Gathers digital requirements, develops and prioritizes roadmaps and backlogs, translates needs into epics and user stories, coordinates Agile teams and partners, supports solution configuration, conducts user acceptance testing, and ensures high-quality digital experiences across consumer-facing properties.
