Lead and improve Commercial Lines underwriting processes by identifying simplification opportunities, embedding new technology and ways of working, leading a small team, influencing strategy, and driving continuous improvement across regional underwriting operations.

Lead the Market Pricing team to deliver pricing recommendations, predictive modelling and data-driven insight. Manage and develop analysts, influence pricing strategy, collaborate with senior stakeholders, and drive innovation and continuous improvement in pricing capabilities.

Provide second-line financial crime compliance advice, lead and improve the Financial Crime Framework, deliver enterprise and product risk assessments, provide oversight on fraud, sanctions and bribery risks, support strategic initiatives, produce governance reporting, monitor regulatory developments, and collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen controls and oversight.

Develop and enhance pricing models, rating structures and optimisation techniques; provide pricing insight and recommendations; automate and document pricing processes; use platforms like Radar, Emblem, SAS, SQL and Python; present technical proposals; lead projects and support stakeholder relationships and development of others.

Provide risk oversight and challenge for pricing, reserving and capital decisions in a general insurance setting. Work with Pricing, Underwriting, Actuarial and Finance to translate technical outputs into clear risk insight, develop insurance risk capability, and support continuous improvement and governance.
