Coordinates institution-wide programmes, tracks projects and impact, synthesizes policy and sustainability research, develops dashboards and reports, drafts briefing materials, monitors policy developments, and manages relationships with institutional partners. The role requires cross-functional coordination, stakeholder engagement, strong analytical and writing skills, monitoring and evaluation familiarity, and the ability to manage sensitive deliverables under tight deadlines while using project management and AI productivity tools.

Leads CEEW’s Technology Futures work on critical minerals and clean energy technologies. Responsibilities include tracking markets and geopolitics, leading quantitative and qualitative research, developing policy recommendations, supporting domestic manufacturing, designing pilot projects and financing solutions, managing stakeholders and donors, publishing research, mentoring teams, overseeing outreach, and fundraising. The role requires deep minerals and clean technology expertise, strong project leadership, written communication, and engagement with government, industry, investors, and research institutions.

Research Analyst supporting the expansion of grid-connected distributed renewable energy in India. Responsibilities include analysing policies, regulations, tariffs, financing mechanisms, and market barriers; designing and executing quantitative and qualitative research and surveys; conducting techno-economic and financial analyses; developing policy, business, and financing solutions; publishing research outputs; engaging government, financial, and industry stakeholders; and supporting project implementation, outreach, and events.

The Senior Legal Officer will manage legal risk analysis, contract review and negotiation, organizational policy drafting, and compliance matters. The role requires advising management on legal issues, researching regulatory developments, supporting development-sector operations, and protecting organizational interests. The position involves ownership of assigned workstreams, pragmatic problem-solving, due diligence, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Research Intern supporting corporate sustainability disclosure and sustainable finance research. Responsibilities include assembling datasets, conducting data quality checks, analyzing qualitative disclosures, performing quantitative analysis in Excel and R or STATA, creating visualizations, and synthesizing findings into policy-focused outputs. The role may also contribute to research on sustainable finance instruments, transition finance, climate finance, and transparency.

Conduct research on battery and clean-energy manufacturing, including processes, machinery, materials, supply chains, critical minerals, production costs, and policy developments. Analyze quantitative and trade data, perform techno-economic assessments, track battery technology geopolitics, prepare research briefs and presentations, and engage with government and industry stakeholders. Support the development of rigorous reports and policy recommendations for domestic and global battery manufacturing.

Leads CEEW’s Maharashtra engagement on climate resilience, serving as the primary liaison with government and non-government stakeholders. Responsibilities include government partnership development, stakeholder coordination, funding and proposal support, climate policy and finance research, data analysis, and preparation of policy briefs and government-facing materials. The role also coordinates junior colleagues and contributes to climate action planning, adaptation finance, disaster management, and sectoral resilience initiatives.

Research Analyst supporting clean energy manufacturing research, with emphasis on the solar PV value chain. Responsibilities include assessing manufacturing processes, machinery, materials, supply chains, critical mineral dependencies, techno-economic data, and domestic and international policies. The role also involves preparing research briefs, reports, memos, and presentations; engaging government and industry stakeholders; and tracking geopolitical developments affecting solar technology and manufacturing.

Support communications events through coordination with agencies, vendors, logistics teams, registrations, invitations, delegation management, event logistics, document editing, concept notes, partnership briefs, and social media publicity. The role provides on-ground event support and requires strong writing, communication, project coordination, stakeholder management, aesthetic judgment, research, and timeline management skills.

Manage project budgets, donor fund tracking, grant reporting, statutory compliance, payroll, vendor payments, reconciliations, financial documentation, MIS reporting, and audit support. The Engagement Lead will develop and implement state-level engagement and advocacy strategies for the Low Carbon Economy programme. Responsibilities include building relationships with government and other stakeholders, representing CEEW at meetings and events, coordinating technical exchanges, organising consultations, developing research briefs and presentations, building research collaborations, presenting findings, and supporting revenue generation. The role requires deep knowledge of India’s climate policy, strong government networks, and effective communication skills.

Support research and programme delivery focused on distributed renewable energy adoption in India. Responsibilities include analysing energy policies and regulations, identifying deployment opportunities, developing market strategies, engaging discoms, regulators, governments, and developers, supporting project planning and donor engagement, producing policy communications, and representing CEEW at events. The role requires expertise in India’s power markets, grid-connected distributed renewables, stakeholder engagement, and project management.

Conduct research on circular economy adoption in clean energy sectors, focusing on solar module and battery recycling technologies, market mechanisms, and policy and regulatory frameworks. Analyze developments, develop quantitative and creative solutions, and produce reports, briefs, blogs, and opinion pieces. Lead project execution, manage stakeholders and partnerships, organize consultations and events, engage with government and industry, support fundraising, and mentor colleagues.

Conduct literature reviews on solid waste management and air pollution; monitor environmental research and policy developments; produce reports, web content, blogs, and issue briefs; support project implementation, presentations, communications, meetings, and follow-ups. Requires strong research, quantitative analysis, writing, communication, and teamwork skills. Familiarity with QGIS, R, Python, geospatial datasets, and Life Cycle Analysis is desirable.

Supports the Clean Air Team’s behavior-change research portfolio through research activities in behavioral science and information, education, and communication (IEC). The three-month internship is based in New Delhi or remotely and reports to a Programme Lead at CEEW.
