Teams at Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW)

Leads applied geospatial research supporting climate resilience, clean air, sustainable mobility, and urban planning. Develops reproducible Google Earth Engine and Python workflows, processes satellite and socioeconomic data, applies statistical and machine-learning models, validates results, and creates datasets, maps, dashboards, reports, and policy tools. Collaborates with government and research partners, supports stakeholder training, maintains documentation and data pipelines, and coordinates analytical workstreams across programmes.

Coordinates institution-wide programmes, tracks projects and impact, synthesizes policy and sustainability research, develops dashboards and reports, drafts briefing materials, monitors policy developments, and manages relationships with institutional partners. The role requires cross-functional coordination, stakeholder engagement, strong analytical and writing skills, monitoring and evaluation familiarity, and the ability to manage sensitive deliverables under tight deadlines while using project management and AI productivity tools.

The Senior Legal Officer will manage legal risk analysis, contract review and negotiation, organizational policy drafting, and compliance matters. The role requires advising management on legal issues, researching regulatory developments, supporting development-sector operations, and protecting organizational interests. The position involves ownership of assigned workstreams, pragmatic problem-solving, due diligence, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
