Requires deep P&C insurance tax expertise, including ASC 740, SSAP 101, insurance-specific tax law, and advanced tax software and Excel proficiency.

Leads business analysis for insurance underwriting technology solutions, including requirements elicitation, process analysis, user stories, stakeholder alignment, testing, UAT, traceability, and production support. Partners with underwriters, product managers, developers, and QA teams across policy, claims, billing, and underwriting initiatives. Drives process improvements and uses Microsoft Copilot to enhance requirements documentation, impact analysis, and delivery efficiency.

Supports underwriting platform stability and continuous improvement by triaging production incidents, investigating root causes, validating data corrections and system changes, testing releases, documenting defects and procedures, and supporting regulatory compliance. Collaborates with technical and business stakeholders across underwriting, operations, reporting, development, architecture, and quality engineering while building expertise in commercial P&C insurance, Duck Creek, software delivery, and production support.

Provides end-user desktop and IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, operating systems, communication devices, and business applications. Installs and deploys operating systems, software, and security patches; manages workstations, assets, users, and service-level compliance. Supports remote users, documents incidents, improves service management processes, researches desktop products, and communicates progress to clients and internal stakeholders.

Supports corporate income tax provisions, federal and state tax compliance, premium tax processing, reconciliations, and investment accounting for a consolidated insurance group. Responsibilities include ASC 740 and SSAP 101 reporting, tax workpapers, audit requests, custodian account reconciliations, investment valuations, invoice processing, statutory deposits, and investment cash-flow monitoring. The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and coordination with internal teams and external advisors.

Two-day summer externship introducing college sophomores to the property and casualty insurance industry. Participants will explore underwriting, claims, finance, actuarial, and technology functions through hands-on learning, job shadowing, business-partner engagement, networking, and exposure to future internship opportunities. The program is onsite in Morristown, New Jersey, and requires students to be sophomores graduating in May 2028 with at least a 3.0 GPA.

Execute financial and operational audits, perform internal control testing using MAR and SOX Lite, prepare work papers and audit reports, collaborate with external auditors, and communicate control findings and recommendations to process owners.
