Lead spectrum management and regulatory activities for Astroscale UK space missions, managing ITU satellite filings, frequency coordination, technical RF analyses, licensing, stakeholder engagement (Ofcom, ITU, government), and supporting spectrum policy and mission compliance from concept through operations.

Lead and execute sales and business development to win contracts with the Government of Japan and other customers for on-orbit services. Develop communication strategies, engage partners and business leads, prepare competitive proposals, and coordinate sales activities to secure orders. Support manager-assigned duties.

Design and develop MPU-based onboard electronics and electronic control devices for satellites. Lead mixed-signal circuit design, simulation and board-level verification, define interfaces/specifications, coordinate with suppliers, manage mass/power/data budgets, and plan/execute environmental and electrical tests and evaluate results.

Design, implement and verify spacecraft AOCS/GNC systems including control laws and algorithms for RPO and docking. Support system-level activities (CONOPS, FMECA, FDIR), GNC hardware/software architecture, simulation-based validation, and procurement trade-offs for sensors and equipment.

Lead operations preparation for spacecraft missions: define mission ops concepts, develop procedures, support simulators and mission databases, write test plans, coordinate with design and flight teams, support system validation tests and mission simulations, and provide operational support including potential on-call anomaly resolution.

Lead and design satellite operations across development and post-launch phases: create operation plans, procedures, verification and training; develop tools and simulators; coordinate with system and ground engineers, customers, and suppliers; lead operations team and participate in operations shifts.

Design, develop, validate and maintain flight dynamics software and algorithms for space control. Support requirements capture, mission analysis, V&V, integration, operations troubleshooting, bids, supplier interfacing, Agile delivery, and product documentation for defence customers.

Provide daily office administration and services including reception of calls and deliveries, inventory and vendor coordination, facility and security management, cleaning contractor oversight, basic bookkeeping (expense filing and payment requests), and general clerical support to maintain a safe, functional workplace.

Develop, simulate, prototype, verify and debug GNC flight software for spacecraft using C/C++ and Python. Build dynamics, sensor/actuator models (USF-Sim), run Monte Carlo analyses, maintain CI/CD (GitLab), containerized environments (Docker), and document work in Jira/Confluence while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Build and maintain engineering tools, infrastructure, and practices to improve reliability, traceability, and maintainability of mission-critical software. Automate and standardize workflows, develop internal libraries and data pipelines, package reusable tools, define GitLab/Git and CI/CD best practices, support CI/CD troubleshooting and onboarding, and enable automated documentation and long-term tool maintenance.

Lead the development and verification of spacecraft GNC/AOCS systems, design control laws and algorithms for RPO and docking, define system-level activities (CONOPS, FMECA, FDIR), perform hardware/software architecture trade-offs, support procurement, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead development and operational deployment of flight dynamics software and tools across diverse orbital regimes. Perform mission analysis, conjunction assessment, collision-avoidance planning, rendezvous/docking operations, manoeuvre planning/execution evaluation, real-time operations, anomaly investigation, and documentation. Interface with contractors and multidisciplinary teams, support GNC and spacecraft operations, design ground-segment FD concepts, develop/validate procedures, and participate in 24/7 shifts and on-call rotations.

Lead planning and execution of Assembly, Integration & Verification (AIV) for satellite systems: manage assembly, integration, functional/performance and environmental testing, GSE, launch interface and launch-site activities; coordinate cross-functional stakeholders; develop AIV plans, procedures and GSE requirements; identify and resolve technical, quality, schedule and safety issues; track V&V and progress; standardize processes and mentor teams.

Lead FP&A analyses and financial modeling to support budgeting, closing, cash-generation initiatives, and strategic projects. Produce reporting packages, drive process improvements, and coordinate with global finance teams and ERP infrastructure to inform executive decision-making.

Plan, execute, evaluate, and improve Assembly, Integration, and Verification (AIV) activities for satellite systems. Perform assembly, integration, functional/environmental testing, GSE operation, launch interface coordination, and launch site operations. Coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, QA, procurement, and external facilities. Create/revise work plans and procedures, resolve technical and schedule issues, and drive manufacturability, testability, safety, and QCD improvements.

Lead and perform hands-on general affairs tasks: office services (supplies, mail, reception, snacks), facilities management (layout, equipment repairs, moves, vendor coordination), security and safety (access control, fire safety, policies, audits), IT asset coordination, and insurance administrative procedures. Supervise or support colleagues on related tasks.

Plan and execute electrical and system tests for satellites and components: create test specifications/procedures/reports, perform functional/interface/power/communication/integration tests using test instruments, operate test jigs/equipment, troubleshoot failures, coordinate with subcontractors and subsystem teams, support production logistics and launch/early operation as needed, and provide process and test fixture improvement feedback.

Lead development of computer vision components for mission systems: define requirements, design and implement object-detection algorithms, verify and integrate software on target embedded hardware, manage releases, support system testing and operations, and act as technical lead coordinating schedules and tasks across teams.

Lead design and delivery of complex space missions by coordinating matrixed engineering teams; plan and run project review gates and deliverables; balance quality, cost, schedule, and risk; provide inputs to mission studies and bids; interface with customers, suppliers, and partners; perform other manager-assigned duties.

Design and maintain spacecraft mission and system architecture: derive requirements and CONOPS, perform system modeling and analyses, manage mass/power/data/fuel budgets, create and track verification/validation plans, coordinate with tech/subsystem leads and project manager, support supplier selection, and plan/participate in AIV (assembly, integration, verification) activities and testing.
