Operate and maintain AWS infrastructure while developing cloud architecture and Terraform IaC expertise. Responsibilities include provisioning, monitoring, incident response, patching, backups, documentation, architecture support, migration projects, security improvements, automation, and root-cause analysis. The role collaborates with technical and business teams and gradually grows toward Cloud Architect responsibilities.

Design and build reusable platform capabilities across AWS and on-premises environments. Own the GitLab ecosystem, optimize CI/CD, create self-service tooling, standardize repositories, and improve software ownership and governance. Automate engineering workflows, testing, data processing, documentation, and reporting. Establish monitoring, logging, alerting, patching, recovery validation, and security practices using Prometheus and Grafana while supporting cross-functional engineering teams.

Operates and improves Linux, AWS, networking, virtualization, monitoring, security, backup, and on-premises infrastructure. Manages AWS resources, Proxmox VE clusters, network connectivity, patching, access controls, Prometheus and Grafana monitoring, recovery strategies, documentation, and incident response. Collaborates with engineering, operations, and mission teams to provision and troubleshoot infrastructure. Requires strong Linux, AWS, networking, virtualization, scripting, communication, and bilingual English-Japanese capabilities.
