The Director of Rates & Regulatory Affairs at Arizona Water Company drives regulatory strategy, leads filings with the ACC, and ensures compliance while supporting business goals.

Supervise operation, maintenance and repair of water production, booster pumps, treatment and chlorination systems. Oversee staff, train employees, manage SCADA/telemetry issues, ensure ADEQ compliance, perform water quality tests, and cover superintendent duties as needed. Subject to 24-hour on-call status.

Provide general clerical and administrative support to the General Manager and Assistant GM, including typing, filing, copying, phone and mail handling, maintaining office supplies and equipment, tracking safety meeting records, and following up on service requests and daily plant/inspection logs.

Supervise Operations Analysts and Safety Management to support division operations: reduce water loss, manage safety programs and training, develop SOPs and BMPs, oversee fleet and tank maintenance, coordinate water reporting and capital planning, recruit/train staff, and manage assigned projects.

Manage the companys Backflow and Cross-Connection Control Program: prepare and submit testing and compliance reports, coordinate audits and inspections, liaise with licensed testers and operators, maintain records and approved tester lists, track testing and reporting via AS-400, monitor Arizona regulations, and assist in updating program documentation.

Supervise operations analysts and safety team to support division managers: reduce water loss, manage safety and training, oversee fleet and tank maintenance, coordinate capital planning, handle water reporting, recruit and train staff, and lead process and best-practice improvements to ensure efficient, safe operations.

Analyze and validate billing and meter-read data, correct exceptions, process adjustments and payments, support payment/billing research, coordinate with sewer entities and meter readers, approve files for printing, maintain documentation, and assist customer service representatives.
