Lead manufacturing operations at a precision machining facility, managing production planning, quality control, costs, staffing, and process improvements. Ensure on-time delivery, regulatory and ISO compliance, coordinate with suppliers and internal teams, analyze production data, resolve operational issues, and drive continuous improvement to meet customer and profitability goals.

Leads sales and program management for product introductions, ensuring customer satisfaction, generating new business, coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, production, quality), overseeing quotes and contract reviews, and ensuring compliance with medical device quality and regulatory systems. Support Quality Assurance operations by assisting with quality control, document control, and business activities. Detect and report discrepancies, follow Seabrook quality procedures, and adhere to workplace safety. Work may include light to moderate physical tasks and routine use of MS Office.

Serve as a technical sales lead managing product introductions, customer configurations, quotations, and account growth. Liaise with engineering, purchasing, production, and quality to ensure manufacturability and regulatory/QMS compliance. Drive new business, attend trade shows, provide sales forecasts, and lead sales staff.

Manage and maintain calibration database and schedules, coordinate internal/external calibrations, generate and review calibration documentation, track overdue items, assist with discrepancy investigations, and support audits while maintaining organized records.

Operate finishing processes including bead blast, tumbling, deburr, heat treat, and passivation. Perform dimensional inspection with calipers and micrometers, follow quality and safety procedures, report discrepancies, maintain clean workspace, and assist in training new team members.

Support operations leadership on continuous improvement and operational excellence projects in a manufacturing setting. Assist with Lean and 5S initiatives, process observations, cross-functional improvement work, and process documentation. Use Microsoft Office for reporting, adhere to safety standards, and perform light to moderate on-floor activities.

Lead daily assembly operations, assign work, monitor production and inventory, coach and evaluate staff, ensure ISO 13485 and safety compliance, resolve production issues, support continuous improvement and manage cycle counts/physical inventory.

Program, setup, and operate a 4-machine Doosan lathe cell producing precision aerospace components. Create and optimize CNC (G-code) programs, perform machine setups and first-article runs, inspect parts to AS9100 standards using GD&T, troubleshoot machining issues, drive continuous improvement, and coordinate with Engineering and Quality.

Perform finishing operations on precision mechanical components including deburring, polishing, sanding, grinding, scraping, and visual/magnified inspection to drawing specifications. Maintain lot traceability, adhere to ISO quality systems, safety policies, and keep organized workspace. Interface with supervisors and planning to meet on-time delivery; may assist with packaging, 5S, and inspection tasks.

Maintain and manage the QCBD document system, execute document control lifecycle, support ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820 compliance, review device history records, maintain training and DMR records, enter data into EPICOR, support audits, and assist cross-functional teams to resolve documentation issues and implement corrective actions.

Develop and optimize CNC milling processes (vertical and horizontal), create and troubleshoot CNC programs, design fixtures and tooling, support quoting and sales, collaborate with machinists and inspection, improve production methods, and manage process documentation and supplier selection to meet quality and cost goals.

The role involves designing indexable cutting tools, preparing cost estimates, collaborating with teams, and improving quote performance. Requires CAD skills and engineering expertise.

Supervise multishift machining operations and up to 20+ employees while mentoring apprentices and machinists. Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and edit CNC and manual machines; perform inspections (CMM, calipers, micrometers), coordinate maintenance, drive process improvements, support scheduling/planning, ensure quality and safety, and work with engineering on new part start-ups and tooling.

Set up, operate, and maintain CNC Swiss and manual machines to produce precision parts. Interpret blueprints, load tooling and material, run machine control programs, inspect parts using CMM/DCC-CMM, deburr, document quality data, and perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping. Collaborate with engineers, programmers, inspectors, and maintenance to resolve machining issues.

The Manufacturing Engineer leads initiatives to optimize manufacturing processes, implement lean principles, and mentor teams. Responsibilities include analyzing data, championing improvement projects, and supporting new product introductions.
