Prepares, communicates, tracks, and manages manufacturing quotes across multiple ARCH Cutting Tools business units. The role responds to RFQs, gathers information from Sales, Engineering, and Supply Chain, coordinates quote reviews, maintains databases, tracks win/loss trends, and communicates final pricing to customers. It also develops knowledge of site-specific manufacturing capabilities, processes, costs, and standards; supports locations during workload fluctuations; and identifies opportunities to improve quoting consistency and process alignment.

Independently machines complex prototype surgical instrument components using CNC and manual equipment. Performs setups, interprets drawings and GD&T, selects tooling and fixtures, modifies programs, troubleshoots processes, and provides manufacturability feedback. Supports prototype development through first article, fitting, finishing, inspection, assembly, process documentation, and production handoff. Collaborates with engineers, trains less experienced machinists, and maintains a safe, organized machine shop.

Directs manufacturing operations, production scheduling, inventory, maintenance, safety, quality, and delivery requirements. Establishes objectives, assigns work, manages supervisors and staff, coordinates manufacturing projects, allocates resources, and monitors budgets and productivity. Partners with purchasing and other departments on material status and production planning, resolves operational issues, submits performance reports, and ensures projects meet schedule, budget, and customer requirements.
