Underwrite and manage assigned North American property and casualty insurance programs to achieve profitability, premium growth, and expense goals. Responsibilities include pricing and exposure analysis, underwriting referrals, audits, aggregation monitoring, program administrator oversight, claims coordination, compliance, broker and client relationship management, business development, reporting, and adherence to reinsurance protocols. The role also supports budgeting, special projects, industry development, and professional training.

Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve Casualty, Professional Indemnity, and Healthcare insurance claims in Australia and potentially across APAC. The role manages customer interactions, identifies complex or fraudulent claims, coordinates suppliers, ensures legal and regulatory compliance, supports reporting and administrative activities, and collaborates with underwriting, finance, actuarial, operations, and technology teams.

Serves as the insurance operations subject matter expert by centralizing forms, documenting workflows, creating process maps and training materials, supporting system testing, and identifying efficiency improvements. Collaborates across insurance and business operations teams to standardize enterprise processes, lead cross-training, and support the Target Operating Model initiative. Performs Account Coordinator duties as needed.

Design, implement, and monitor security controls and architectures. Develop automation and tools, deploy endpoint agents, lead penetration testing and vulnerability remediation, triage alerts, and produce assessment reports. Provide after-hours availability for outages and project rollouts.

Lead and oversee insurance coverage litigation and related disputes for the company. Manage matter intake, retain and supervise outside counsel, develop litigation strategy, oversee discovery, mediations and arbitrations, set reserves, report trends to management, coordinate with underwriting/actuarial/finance, and maintain E&O reporting.

Support underwriters by processing new business submissions, renewals, binders, policy issuance and midterm requests. Provide timely customer service to brokers and internal teams, collaborate proactively with territories, develop product and marketplace knowledge, and participate in professional development and training.

Investigate, evaluate and resolve directors & officers, fiduciary and crime claims. Analyze coverage, set reserves, manage litigation and counsel interaction, prepare summaries and reports, and collaborate with underwriting, finance, actuarial and operations. Provide client/broker support and attend industry meetings.

Investigate, evaluate, and resolve cyber liability insurance claims, manage incident response and vendor engagement, analyze coverage, set reserves, oversee litigation strategy, prepare reports, and collaborate with underwriting, finance, actuarial and other teams. Represent the company in mediations and meet brokers and clients.

Support North American underwriters by processing new business submissions, renewals, binders, policy issuance and midterm changes for Property, Casualty and Professional lines. Provide timely customer service to brokers and internal teams, learn product sets and marketplace dynamics, and contribute to operational efficiency and technology adoption.

Lead design, development, and maintenance of scalable data solutions including data pipelines, warehouses and data mesh. Collaborate with stakeholders, write clean SQL/scripts, mentor junior data engineers, drive new technology adoption, and integrate applications across systems.

Lead ServiceNow ITSM strategy, implementation, and optimization. Own ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge), CMDB/asset lifecycle, major incident/crisis management, platform administration, vendor relationships, reporting, compliance (SOX/GDPR), and team development to drive continuous improvement and service delivery.

Lead consolidated tax reporting, accounting and analysis under US GAAP and IFRS. Prepare quarterly, annual and periodic tax schedules and disclosures; monitor tax law changes; review local and external tax provisions; liaise with local teams, Fairfax affiliates, and auditors; maintain tax controls, process documentation, and tax accounting policies; analyze uncertain tax positions.

Support Asia-Pacific pricing by developing and maintaining rating models, providing pricing for large accounts, supporting online rating platforms, conducting actuarial profitability reviews, reporting key metrics to senior management, and automating pricing and analytical workflows.

Maintain the PAM investment sub-ledger, perform cash-matching, assist with period-end group and local reporting, provide investment balances and schedules for US Stat companies, uphold internal controls and compliance, and support ad hoc reports and projects as required.

Lead enterprise data quality and governance strategy: define metrics and KPIs, implement MDM and data-quality tools (Collibra, Informatica, Talend), establish metadata and lineage, drive stakeholder alignment, build governance org and training, oversee audits and executive reporting via dashboards.

Handle and process APAC healthcare, casualty and professional indemnity claims: register, review, reserve, investigate, negotiate settlements, instruct counsel, manage customer/intermediary interactions, organise suppliers, escalate complex cases, support colleagues, prepare reports, and ensure legal and policy compliance.

Lead legal, regulatory and compliance for the Allied World Lloyd's Syndicate 2232 platform. Oversee UK legal/compliance staff, company secretarial duties, Lloyd's regulatory matters and compliance, serve as Data Privacy Officer, negotiate contracts, manage legal budget, liaise with outside counsel and align with global Legal & Compliance.

Support underwriters by processing new business submissions, renewals, binders, policy issuance, and midterm service requests. Provide timely customer service to brokers, collaborate proactively with underwriting teams, develop product knowledge, and participate in professional development and training.

Perform accounting for insurance/reinsurance operations including retrocession oversight, financial reporting, reconciliations, Sarbanes-Oxley control maintenance, quarter/year-end close, journal entries, broker statement processing, audit support, and stakeholder liaison. Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory accounting standards and maintain accurate records in SAP.

Technical lead for APAC digital strategies: design, prototype, build and support services and front-end applications; build web integration and monitoring; lead requirements, design and code reviews; manage production support, releases and incident resolution.
