California-based Oberon Fuels is on a global mission to decarbonize transportation by producing a powerful, enabling molecule, dimethyl ether (DME). DME, which can range from being ultra-low carbon to carbon-negative, can significantly reduce the carbon footprint of the transportation sector and beyond 1) as an energy-dense, cost-effective means to move renewable hydrogen, 2) as a blending agent for LPG, and 3) as a diesel replacement. Oberon has challenged the status quo by introducing innovative solutions to the transportation sector to reduce its carbon footprint, vehicle emissions and improve local air quality while creating economic opportunity for the communities where they operate. In 2013, Oberon Fuels’ refinery in Brawley, Calif., produced the first fuel-grade DME in North America, and in 2021 produced the first-ever renewable DME in the US. Oberon’s DME has powered vehicle demonstrations around the world with Volvo Trucks, Mack Trucks, Ford, among others. Founded in 2010, Oberon Fuels is privately held with both private and strategic investors, including Suburban Propane Partners, L.P. (NYSE: SPH).

Energy suppliers are often extremely focused on the front end — the acquisition of customers and the growth of their base — but pay very little attention to caring for a customer once they’re on board. Utilities often take their customer relationships for granted and forget the importance of first-class service in a competitive world. Alternate suppliers and utilities both run the risk of inadvertently contacting customers on Do Not Call lists or on cell phones, which can result in costly fines and litigation. Take care of your core business, and let the experts and EnergyCare take care of your customers. If running an internal call center becomes a distraction, why not outsource it? EnergyCare will represent your brand with a live, courteous and professional voice at all hours. Its call centers have achieved PCI compliant status, too, so you can rest assured they’ve got confidentiality issues covered. Energy is all we do, and we know how to do it. We're determined to make every call from your customers a positive experience.

Fieldwood Energy is one of the largest operators in the Gulf of Mexico, a region that is our heritage and an integral part of our DNA. Each member of our management team has spent most —if not all— of their careers operating in the Gulf, and the company has been built by acquiring the offshore businesses of some of the basin’s leading operators. It is our people, partnerships and commitment to operational excellence with a focus on safety that are the foundations of our continued growth. Fieldwood Energy’s long-term commitment to the Gulf of Mexico began when the company was established in September 2013 with the acquisition of Apache’s Gulf of Mexico Shelf business, followed shortly thereafter by the acquisition of SandRidge’s Gulf of Mexico and Gulf Coast business units in early 2014. In late 2015, following the historic Mexican energy reforms, Fieldwood successfully bid on the Ichalkil and Pokoch fields in the shallow water Bay of Campeche, and in 2017 became the first U.S. company to drill a well offshore Mexico in over 75 years. In April 2018, Fieldwood significantly expanded its deepwater Gulf of Mexico presence through the acquisition of Noble Energy’s deepwater assets. Fieldwood’s significant footprint in the deepwater and shallow water Gulf of Mexico includes interests in approximately 400 offshore blocks covering approximately two million gross acres, including approximately 1,000 wells. In addition to our U.S. presence, Fieldwood is also the operator of the Ichalkil and Pokoch fields in Mexico’s shallow water Bay of Campeche located approximately 60 miles offshore Ciudad del Carmen.
