Design, implement, and maintain security controls across cloud, on-prem, air-gapped and classified environments. Support monitoring, detection, incident response, vulnerability management, IAM, secure SDLC, and GRC activities including audit readiness and NRC/classified facility support.

Manage general ledger activity, reconciliations, and journal entries; handle AP, AR, payroll, and intercompany transactions; support month-end and year-end close; prepare financial reports and audit documentation; investigate variances and partner with finance leadership to ensure accurate, timely financial operations.

Implement and maintain the credit union's cybersecurity infrastructure and controls—focusing on Microsoft 365 E5 security, cloud collaboration protection, email security, incident response, vulnerability and risk management, MDR/SIEM coordination, compliance (GLBA/financial regulations), security documentation, and staff mentoring.

Serve as the program Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) overseeing daily security operations, risk and vulnerability assessments, configuration and change management, RMF/DIACAP processes, and contractor ISSO oversight. Collaborate with engineers and program managers to design and implement security programs, perform requirements and functional analysis, and enable government planning and oversight of multi-level security systems.

Lead RECOVER Initiative as CEO to professionalize operations, grow earned revenue, steward a remote team, expand education and research impact, build partnerships, and translate scientific rigor into scalable programs and measurable outcomes. Reports to the Board and balances strategic leadership with hands-on execution.

Lead design, implementation, and management of security infrastructure across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. Drive incident response, threat detection tuning, vulnerability assessments, risk and compliance (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, NIST, ISO 27001), security policy development, and security training. Collaborate with IT, DevOps, legal, and procurement to integrate security into SDLC and vendor selection.

Designs and implements enterprise security architecture, develops security standards and policies, leads security projects and incident response, mentors junior staff, evaluates and configures network/security devices, and drives security awareness and strategy across the organization.
