Leads Alpaca’s global Corporate Actions function across U.S. and international markets. Oversees mandatory and voluntary events, supervisory controls, reconciliations, incident management, exception handling, team performance, and operational risk. Partners with Product, Engineering, Trading, Ledger, Security Master, and Operations teams to improve system synchronization, automation, observability, and scalability. Provides administrative and operational support to Retirement Plan Consultants by coordinating client communications, collecting and organizing plan data, tracking deadlines, maintaining records, and assisting with Form 5500 filings, distributions, loans, corrections, reporting, and special projects. The role requires accuracy, organization, communication skills, Excel proficiency, confidentiality, and the ability to manage high-volume tasks independently after training.

Provide technical customer support across iOS, Android, and web platforms. Troubleshoot issues, reproduce and document bugs, identify trends, escalate urgent problems, and communicate customer feedback and feature requests to Product and Engineering. Coordinate with Underwriting Operations, oversee trainers, and ensure team members remain current on company programs. The role permits telecommuting and requires fluency in Mandarin, a master’s degree in enterprise risk management or finance, and graduate coursework in insurance and operational risk management.

Own cross-functional business operations across HR, finance, administration, reporting, compliance, and enterprise trust. Manage onboarding, offboarding, agreements, payroll and benefits administration, hiring support, operating cadences, dashboards, metrics reconciliation, security questionnaires, vendor reviews, data processing agreements, and SOC 2 certification. Lead ambiguous priority projects end to end and build AI-powered automations and internal tools.

Advise students on financial aid programs, Title IV eligibility, documentation, awards, payment options, and borrowing. Evaluate submitted documents, calculate tuition and aid amounts, communicate requirements, review eligibility changes, and ensure compliance with government, state, military, VA, and institutional policies while meeting service metrics.
