Contract Payroll Tax Specialist responsible for processing, paying, and filing high-volume federal, state, and local payroll tax liabilities; reconciling tax accounts in Oracle; responding to agency notices; performing root-cause analysis and corrections; supporting year-end W-2 activities; managing correspondence; and recommending process improvements and automation.

Lead and improve payroll operations and controls, manage the Payroll team, ensure global payroll compliance and accurate reporting, support CFO on finance and accounting projects, drive process improvements and system initiatives (including ERP/payroll systems), prepare for audits, and mentor staff to maintain continuity and scalability across finance functions.

Manage U.S. full-cycle accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, corporate card reconciliation, timesheet cost allocation, month-end close, GL reconciliations, inter-entity transfers, audit support, budgeting, internal controls, and finance system improvements to support global consolidation and grant reporting.

Senior FP&A partner to AMER Sales leadership driving operational and financial analysis, capacity and demand planning, forecasting, scenario modeling, reporting, and executive storytelling. Leads analysts, improves planning and reporting processes, and translates operational metrics into actionable insights to support decision-making and growth.

Manage accounts receivable and invoicing for multiple properties: generate and verify invoices, record payments, reconcile AR ledgers, follow up on overdue accounts, assist month-end close and accruals, issue 1099s, communicate with vendors/customers, and support process improvements.

Manage end-to-end accounts payable processes including invoice entry into two ERP systems, employee expense report processing, corporate credit card administration and reconciliations, vendor payments (checks, ACH, wires), vendor correspondence, prepayment tracking, accruals, vendor setup/1099s, audit support, and training shared-services team members.

Conduct virtual premium audits for commercial P&C accounts: collect payroll/sales/subcontract data, verify classifications, reconcile exposures, prepare audit reports, coordinate with agents/policyholders, and provide consultative support.

Manage daily accounting operations including payroll, tax filings, accounts payable/receivable, cash management, reconciliations, month-end close, internal controls, and year-end audit. Supervise and train accounting staff, implement process improvements, review journal entries and vendor payments, and support the Controller and CFO.

Support Storage Business Unit FP&A by building financial models, forecasting, and variance analysis. Drive new product investment planning, month-end accounting controls, project tracking, costing, dashboards, and cross-functional reporting. Partner with business leaders, support planning cycles, and mentor junior team members to deliver actionable financial insights.

Prepare corporate income, property, excise, and franchise tax returns; prepare monthly income tax provisions and maintain tax depreciation, deferred tax assets, and gain/loss schedules in TFA. Coordinate tax transactions across districts, support audits and government informational requests, prepare SEC/CPUC and other regulatory reports, reconcile regulatory accounts and unclaimed property, maintain tax calendar and workpapers, and perform related duties to support financial reporting and compliance.
