First dedicated finance hire to own strategic finance and core accounting: build financial models, manage cash and runway, support fundraising, establish monthly close and compliance, oversee payroll/AP/AR/taxes, implement controls, and partner with GTM and Engineering on revenue operations and metrics.

Perform accounting and budget functions across purchasing, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, budget and general ledger tasks. Duties include journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, cash receipt processing, year-end closing, payroll review, vendor coding review, training staff, and responding to auditors. Position requires travel to district sites and background clearances.

Perform general accounting entries, reconciliations, document retention, and payroll. Assist with investment portfolio, fixed assets, prepaids, insurance accounting, funds position administration, month-end close, financial statements, general ledger, regulatory reporting, accounts payable, payroll reporting, compliance tasks, and special departmental projects.

Process and record accounts payable, review invoices for accuracy and fraud, manage payments (checks, ACH, wires), maintain W-9s and 1099s, reconcile GL accounts, assist monthly close and budgeting, supervise AP clerk, manage vendor contracts, support data analysis and finance projects.

Prepare general ledger reconciliations and post monthly journal entries. Assist payroll and accounts payable, support special projects, provide data for annual audit requests, and collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and customer experience.

Manage full-cycle accounts receivable across multiple entities and ERPs, lead and develop the AR team, oversee billing, cash application, collections, reconciliations, credit onboarding, forecasting, audit support, month-end close, and process improvements to ensure timely cash flow and accurate financial reporting.

Support the Controller in financial reporting, month/quarter/year-end close, supervising finance staff, improving controls and processes, managing audits, budgeting, AR resolution, and cost-reduction initiatives.

Lead accounting operations including AR/AP, treasury, and internal controls. Drive automation-first processes, implement scalable ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), produce management reporting and dashboards, oversee procurement and vendor policies, and recruit and develop a high-performing accounting team to optimize working capital.

Lead accounting for multiple gaming facilities ensuring GAAP-compliant financial records. Oversee general ledger, monthly/annual financial reporting, audits, regulatory compliance (Gaming Regulations, NIGC MICS), internal controls, and revenue reporting. Supervise accounting staff, coordinate audits, provide financial and ad-hoc business analysis, and maintain policies and procedures.

Build and lead Convex US Inland Marine underwriting division: develop products, pricing and capacity mix; recruit and manage underwriting team; drive distribution, underwriting profit, P&L and reinsurance strategy.
