The Director of FP&A leads financial planning, forecasting, consolidation, reporting, and performance analysis across North America and Europe. The role partners with senior agency leaders, manages overhead and staffing analysis, oversees Hyperion planning governance, drives reporting process improvements, and ensures financial controls and compliance. This position leads and develops a distributed team of three, presents insights to executives, and shapes financial decisions supporting sustainable, profitable growth.

Own internal-use software accounting under ASC 350-40, monthly and quarterly close activities, SOX controls, audits, reconciliations, and management reporting. Lead accounting automation and AI-tool deployment, improve close processes, and manage a team of Senior Accountants. Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Product, Sales, Legal, Internal Audit, and external auditors while maintaining accounting policies and compliance.

Partners with Sales and RevOps leadership on forecasting, budgeting, headcount planning, quota capacity, commissions, bookings, and productivity. Owns Sales financial planning and business reviews, translates variances into recommendations, and builds scalable reporting, dashboards, and processes to improve forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.

Own month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, general ledger operations, corporate card and accounts payable workflows, SaaS billing reconciliations, equity accounting, variable compensation calculations, internal controls, and audit support. Partner cross-functionally to improve accounting processes and resolve variances while maintaining compliance with US GAAP.

Drives financial reporting, KPI tracking, variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and executive decision support for DISH Technologies. Builds ROI, NPV, and DCF models; reconciles vendor commitments and charges; identifies cost-saving opportunities and financial risks; and partners with Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, and Accounting to improve purchasing and fixed-asset processes. Uses advanced Excel, enterprise finance platforms, spreadsheet automation, and AI tools to deliver actionable analysis.

Own strategic finance and FP&A initiatives across financial modeling, forecasting, business performance, AI-enabled finance transformation, and procurement. Partner with senior leaders to analyze strategic opportunities, improve planning processes, optimize spending, define KPIs, and translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations. Build driver-based models, automate workflows, improve financial data systems, and independently manage cross-functional workstreams in a high-growth technology company.

Leads the accounting team across month-end close, general ledger management, technical accounting, financial reporting, audits, SOX compliance, and process improvement. Oversees U.S. GAAP application for complex transactions including equity, share-based compensation, leases, revenue recognition, and business combinations. Manages financial statement preparation, auditor relationships, chart of accounts accuracy, team development, and automation initiatives while partnering with FP&A and tax.

Perform tax form and regulation research, interpret tax code updates, guide programmers on calculation changes, design and execute tests, document calculations, contribute release notes and customer guidance, and support tax software products remotely.

Own end-to-end mergers and acquisitions and strategic investment transactions, including sourcing, valuation, diligence, LOI execution, closing, and integration planning. Partner with senior leadership, Product, Engineering, Finance, Legal, HR, Ventures, and other stakeholders. Maintain a pipeline of opportunities, assess strategic fit and market dynamics, and independently drive multiple transactions while escalating high-stakes decisions appropriately.

Own marketing FP&A, including headcount planning, budgeting, actuals tracking, channel allocation, ROI reporting, purchase orders, and vendor commitments. Partner with marketing, sales, RevOps, data, and corporate finance to connect marketing spend with pipeline and revenue outcomes. Lead pipeline forecasting, reporting definitions, risk identification, and AI-enabled automation of finance processes and forecasting cycles.
