Lead audits and performance tuning of large SQL Server environments: analyze schemas, stored procedures, indexes, and query plans; refactor queries and procedures; resolve locks/deadlocks; implement indexing/partitioning; use SQL Profiler, Extended Events and DMVs; define database governance and coach developers on best practices.
