Supports land development engineering projects under a licensed Professional Engineer, preparing grading, drainage, utility, permitting, calculations, reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. Evaluates site constraints and design alternatives, coordinates with project managers, clients, agencies, and multidisciplinary teams, and contributes to quality control. Provides guidance to junior staff, manages assigned tasks, meets deadlines, and participates in periodic field work and site visits.

The Staff Accountant manages financial records and transactions, supports accounts payable and receivable, maintains fixed asset records, reconciles accounts, prepares journal entries and financial reports, and assists with month-end, year-end, and audit activities. The role ensures compliance with GAAP, company policies, and internal controls while contributing to process improvements, system implementations, and financial analysis.

Performs daily purchasing using forecasts and MRP, including supplier sourcing, vendor relationship management, price and contract negotiation, delivery scheduling, purchase order maintenance, inventory coordination, demand and market forecasting, quality compliance, reporting, and purchasing process improvement.

Advises and coaches independent contractors on business best practices, financial planning, settlement management, revenue growth, expense control, and retention. Provides settlement projections, scanning guidance, and advocacy within the company while delivering customer-focused support, accurate reporting, and relationship management.
