As a Wholesale & Specialty Sales Operations Student, you will support Irving Oil’s Wholesale & Specialty Sales, Operations and Compliance team. This role provides exposure to sales operations, contract management, compliance processes, and data analysis, while offering opportunities to collaborate with internal teams and contribute to meaningful projects that support safe and reliable operations.
The Wholesale & Specialty team, located at the Home Office, consists of sales representatives, compliance specialists, an operations specialist, and customer service representatives. The team supports the sale of gasoline, diesel, heating oil, kerosene, jet fuel, liquid asphalt, bunker and marine gas oil. Together, they ensure customers receive fuel safely and efficiently, while managing compliance, contracts, and billing.
Responsibilities:
Contribute meaningfully to projects that enhance the documentation of supply chain and compliance activities
Contribute to projects that improve efficiency, accuracy, and supply planning processes
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate reporting, documentation, and customer support
Conduct data analysis and prepare presentations using Excel to support team performance and decision-making
Provide backend support with occasional customer-facing tasks related to sales operations

Your Experience:
Currently enrolled in Business Administration program
Must have completed at least one year of post-secondary education and be returning to school

Compensation – The weekly salary for this role will be based on your current work term. 1st - $795, 2nd - $875, 3rd and additional terms - $960
