Role Overview:

Could you be our next Warehouse Operations Manager? Globe Life is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to join the team!

This role is responsible for leading and supporting daily warehouse operations, including building safety and maintenance, logistics, and inventory accuracy, while fostering operational excellence and supporting various departments in achieving the company's warehousing objectives.

This is an on-site position located in McKinney, Texas.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct regular inspection of buildings and systems to identify maintenance needs.
  • Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Repair or replace defective parts in equipment and facilities.
  • Handle basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
  • Maintain and repair doors, windows, and other structural components.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Keep maintenance logs and reports on daily activities.
  • Operate and maintain tools, equipment, and machinery.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
  • Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) or ERP platforms to optimize efficiency.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean or continuous improvement strategies.
  • Manage vendor relationships, transportation planning, and logistics coordination with carriers and service providers.
  • Oversee procurement and materials management to ensure timely availability of stock.
  • Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular operational reports.

What You Can Bring:

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience in facility maintenance or similar role preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
  • Knowledge of 5s/6s processes, Warehouse inventory control and implementation.
  • HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Hand and Power Tool skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects.
