The Warehouse Associate supports all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and clerical tasks. This role ensures accurate, timely, and safe receipt, verification, documentation, and storage of all inbound and outbound materials and products. Responsibilities include safe operation of forklifts and material-handling equipment, accurate order processing, and documentation to ensure timely, precise shipments. Attention to detail, adherence to procedures, and commitment to a safe, organized environment are essential. This position directly contributes to material traceability, inventory accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive all materials at the main warehouse, ensuring all transactions are completed in D365.
  • Accurately pull customer orders and verify correct parts, quantities, weights, and dimensions.
  • Complete palletizing, including shrink wrap and labeling.
  • Report discrepancies or nonconformances to the Team Leader, Supervisor, Purchasing, or Quality, and ensure issues are resolved promptly.
  • Work with Quality on RMA items and return to stock inventory.
  • Ensure all received products are properly transacted and put away daily, including parcel deliveries.
  • Safely operate forklifts and other industrial vehicles for put-away operations, loading, and unloading trucks/flatbeds.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, product handling, and shipping procedures.
  • Package shipments securely per safety and quality standards.
  • Follow documented procedures and visual controls for consistent quality.
  • Participate in audits, improvement activities, cross-functional tasks, and special projects assigned by management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and promote 5S workplace organization standards.
  • Update and correct receiving and shipping records in the ERP system to maintain data integrity.
  • Coordinate and control the routing of non-inventory shipments within the facility.
  • Temporarily quarantine incoming products pending quality inspection.
  • Record material movements using scan gun and RF devices, maintaining ERP data integrity.
  • Prepare, verify, and organize shipping documents for error-free fulfillment.
  • Print and apply labels per customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor open work orders, identify shortages, and request transfers as needed.
  • Communicate shipping terms and resolve discrepancies with Customer Service and Billing.
  • Coordinate export documentation for international shipments.
  • Maintain accurate records of outbound shipments for audits and traceability.
  • Process completed work through billing.
  • Route products for pick-up using Kinedyne’s or customer TMS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Customer Service, Billing, Inventory Control).
  • Support Shipping/Receiving team members as needed to ensure quality and on-time operations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Team Leader/Supervisor.

SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an appropriate vehicle license (forklift/pallet jack) as required.
  • Must be able to carry/lift up to 50lbs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel and Word).
  • Intermediate-level data entry and document processing skills in Microsoft D365 or similar ERP systems.
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching, pulling, pushing, grasping, and lifting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask effectively.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Prior PIVO experience preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping, logistics, or documentation-focused role within a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
  • Prior use of D365 or similar inventory/receiving software is preferred but not required.
  • Entry-level candidates may be considered with demonstrated ability to learn and follow instructions.
