**Onsite - Springfield Ohio**
Verification Specialists work in an office environment where they are responsible for reviewing images of insurance documents and entering missing data into a database. Associates must enter data quickly and accurately from insurance documents utilizing procedures in accordance with client requirements.
Successful candidates enjoy working on a computer and focusing on a single task. Can type at least 45 WPM, are comfortable with data entry including numbers, able to work rapidly with a high degree of accuracy, enjoy working late at night, quality oriented, can learn large amounts of procedures and apply them quickly, doesn't mind repetitive work, friendly but not talkative, can work in a group with different personalities, while working in a fast-paced office environment.
This role is important because they are responsible for making sure that insurers are covered, and policy information is current and accurate. If you are self-motivated and have experience in data entry, this may be the job for you.
New hires will spend the first few weeks on the job in training during which they will be compensated.
* 2nd Shift position working Mon- Fri 4:00pm-12:30am.
Primary Job Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Verifying data fields from insurance documents in accordance with client requirements
Special Considerations:
Typing Test and Alphanumeric data entry required. Minimum of 45 WPM and KPH of 6000.
Physical demands of the job include:
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time
- Must be able to work at a computer for several hours
- Overtime maybe required up to and including weekend hours
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Computer Proficiency/ data entry
- Minimum 45 WPM & 6,000 KPH alpha-numeric data entry keystrokes per hour (testing required)
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Proficiency with a computer
- Office Experience and previous data entry experience preferred
- Quality oriented while working in a high-volume production environment
- Flexible with policy /procedure changes
- Ability to adapt easily as procedures change frequently
Pay Range:
$14.32 - $21.49Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
