JOB SUMMARY
The Treasury Services Associate plays a critical role in supporting the company's financial operations by accurately processing and applying payments, researching transaction-related discrepancies, and maintaining the integrity of financial data. This position operates in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment and requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to accuracy. The Associate partners with internal departments to ensure timely resolution of payment issues while delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process and apply incoming payments accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment while meeting established service levels and deadlines.
- Research policy, property, account, and payment information to ensure accurate application of funds.
- Review financial transactions and supporting documentation to identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate records through scanning, filing, data entry, reporting, and electronic document management.
- Respond to internal inquiries related to payment processing, transaction research, and account activity.
- Assist with daily treasury operations, cash management activities, and departmental reporting.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Operations, Customer Service, and other departments to resolve transaction-related issues.
- Identify, prioritize, and escalate exceptions or high-priority issues requiring immediate attention.
- Support the Specialist and/or Team Lead with special projects, process improvements, and departmental initiatives.
- Participate actively in team meetings, training, and development opportunities.
- Assist with office relocation and business continuity efforts during Disaster Recovery situations.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
- One (1) or more years of experience in treasury operations, cash application, payment processing, accounts receivable, banking operations, financial services, insurance operations, or a related high-volume transactional environment preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience may be considered.
