Position Summary:

  • Person in this position will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the Community Based Partners (CBP) training calendar, serving as technical support to providers, assisting with development and implementation of monthly training in their services area as related to clinical practices, dissemination of training information to, collaborating with community partners to administer required trainings,

Essential Job Functions:

  • Provide clinical leadership and technical assistance to sub-contractors of the STOP program.
  • Research effective training opportunities and disseminate information to CBP of training opportunities throughout their region.
  • Participate in design and implementation of monthly training on specific topics
  • Responsible for annual training calendar, including information dissemination coordination;
  • Attend community job fairs and;
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience providing training services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Management and administrative experience and capabilities;
  • Must possess knowledge of chemical dependency and community resources;
  • Ability to effectively network with community partners; and
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain CDCR clearance;
  • A valid California drivers license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCare vehicle insurance; and
  • CPR Certification, First Aid Certification and an Annual Tuberculosis test.

Certifications/Licenses:

Education:

  • A Masters Degree preferred in Counseling, Education or related field
  • Certified Substance Abuse Specialist is preferred

Experience and Competencies:

  • Valid drivers license and ability to obtain and maintain WestCares vehicle insurance is required.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Fresno County Credentialing; and
  • CPR Certification, First Aid Certification, and an annual Tuberculosis test. 
  • During your tenure with WestCare there may be new requirements, including, but not limited to vaccinations that are issued by local, State, Federal, and/or Funders that WestCare may have to comply with. Should this occur Human Resources or appropriate personnel will inform you.
