LabCorp is seeking a Training Coordinator to join our team at 23961 Calle De La Magdalena, Suite 230, Laguna Hills, CA 92653

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday hours vary between 6:00am-6:00pm, additional hours and rotating weekends may be required.

 Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees as well as initial training to ensure a positive new hire experience
  • Provide on-going group and individualized training for purposes of work performance enhancement and general education
  • Deliver training in the areas of company and department policies and procedures, department related competencies and Lab Information Systems
  • Develop and implement appropriate resources and programs to accomplish training objectives
  • Evaluate and update existing training materials and plans
  • Serve as a procedural and compliance resource for department employees
  • Support leadership with their goals in relation to quality and service metrics
  • Assist with the creation of improvement plans for underperforming employees
  • Maintain accurate logs and records for all trainings conducted
  • Provide training with respect and professionalism at all times
  • Assist with the workflow during times of high volume or when coverage is needed
  • May travel to client sites and other branches to assist in training
  • Research industry related information when necessary
  • Additional administrative tasks as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent
  • Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License
  • 3 years or more Phlebotomy experience drawing patients of all ages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years or more experience in training

Additional Job Standards:

  • In lieu of state license requirement listed above, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the CA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • High attention to detail and time management skills
  • Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Be at least 21 years old
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test

We are currently seeking a Training Coordinator in Laguna Hillls, CA. In This position will be responsible for the organization, development and execution of training new employees


Pay Range: $23.00 - $35.00

All job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.

Benefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan. Employees who are regularly scheduled to work a 7 on/7 off schedule are eligible to receive all the foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO. Skills Required
