Tooling AuditorJob Description Summary
Regarding Tooling Auditors: Performs analysis of departmental financial data and procedures to ensure compliance; makes recommendations to enhance operations and operational efficiencies. Preparing work papers to support audit scope, objectives, work performed, and findings and conclusions reached. Assessing vulnerabilities and providing recommendations and options. Presenting audit findings to senior audit management for the development of reports and recommendations. Liaising with external auditors to communicate information and resolve problems.Job Description:
- Audits Buyer and Supplier tooling quote/detail (lineup and cost breakdown) prior to Dauch Buyer issuing a Tooling Purchase Order to Supplier
- Ensures Supplier adherence to Dauch's Global Tooling Guidelines
- Ensures Supplier adherence to Dauch 's end-Customer Tooling Guidelines, including specific data requirements throughout the sourcing and tooling development lifecycle
- Leads Supplier Tooling data-sharing between Supplier and Dauch in order to collect all information required for proper asset management either at Dauch (Dauch -owned tooling) or Dauch Customer (Customer-owned tooling)
- Consolidates Supplier Tooling data after acceptable review and forwards to Dauch Sales in order to populate Customer Supplier Tooling Systems and allow Dauch to collect tooling funds from Customer
- Assists Sales and Dauch facilities, as needed, when they collect data on internal tooling that is to be billed to the Customer
- Assists Sales, as needed, when dealing with Customer Tooling Auditors in order to address any Customer questions or concerns as data is reviewed with the Customer
- Audits buyer paperwork prior to Supplier Tool Orders being scheduled for payment and ensures compliance to all Procurement Policies & Procedures
- Assists Sales in development of business cases, leveraging surrogate data in order to ensure a thorough tooling lineup is provided to the Customer as new business is quoted
- Leads Dauch engagement on Periodic Customer Tooling Audits - locates all tools the Customer wishes to verify and coordinates with Supplier and Customer Tooling Auditor for Dauch or Supplier site visits
- Trains Buyers and Suppliers on tooling process
Required Skills and Education
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 5-years’ experience in either Manufacturing, Procurement, Finance, or Audit
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Willingness to travel (up to 10%)
PREFERRED
- Bachelors Degree Engineering, Finance, or Business Administration or equivalent experience
- Familiar with ERP systems (Oracle, Plex)
- Negotiation experience
- Microsoft Visio Experience
