Serve as the customer-facing quality contact for an automotive plant, monitor customer B2B portals and KPIs, resolve customer-specific quality issues, lead cross-functional problem-solving (APQP, Six Sigma, Shainin, KT), develop and execute quality improvement plans, report quality metrics, and maintain customer relationships to ensure compliance with performance and warranty requirements.

Set up, adjust, and operate manual and CNC machines to manufacture, repair, and modify tooling, fixtures, dies, gauges, and precision components. Interpret blueprints/GD&T, hold tight tolerances, troubleshoot machining issues, assist tooling design changes, and maintain tool room organization and safety.

Lead and execute HR functions for a manufacturing site including performance management, benefits administration, compliance, training, talent acquisition, compensation support, records management, and HR policy implementation. Partner with leadership to improve manager and associate performance, manage HR projects and reporting, and support organizational development and succession planning.

The Senior System Engineer will design and optimize subsystems, lead problem-solving initiatives, coordinate cross-functional teams, and support product development processes.

Analyze logistics processes to identify inefficiencies and waste; design and implement process, material-flow, and IT tool improvements; manage projects to optimize warehouse utilization, inventory accuracy, and labor. Lead PFEP, Kaizen events, standardized work, and cross-functional implementation with operations, quality, safety, procurement, and NPI teams.

Operates manufacturing equipment, handles materials, performs visual and dimensional inspections, documents production and quality data, identifies nonconforming products, supports changeovers and routine maintenance, and follows safety, PPE, housekeeping, and productivity requirements. Works in a team environment while meeting production schedules and quality standards.

Lead design, optimization, and implementation of manufacturing processes, equipment, and layouts. Perform time studies, process capability analysis, and value stream mapping to drive continuous improvement and cost reduction. Develop SOPs, work instructions, and process control plans. Support DFM, troubleshoot production issues, manage capital equipment projects, and apply lean methodologies (5S, Kaizen, SMED). Collaborate with quality and production teams and provide training to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient manufacturing operations.

Manage daily Quality Management System operations, ensure customer and regulatory compliance, lead audits and corrective actions, and drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives. Provide technical guidance on metallurgy, material specifications, heat treatment, and product quality. Partner with leadership, operations, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality concerns, improve products, deliver training, and develop quality-focused teams.

Lead and mentor supplier quality engineers to ensure supplier compliance with APQP/PPAP and IATF/ISO standards. Manage supplier performance, audits, capacity analysis, root-cause problem solving (8D/5Y/Six Sigma), and corrective actions. Drive supplier launches, crisis management, continuous improvement, VAVE cost reduction, and maintain auditor certifications.

Analyze production work methods to develop labor standards, improve workflow and labor utilization, reduce waste, implement work improvement programs, prepare work-analysis reports, train operators/supervisors, and maintain/update procedures and operations guidelines on the production floor.

Lead regional quality for US and Brazil, develop and execute QA strategies, manage customer escalations and warranty issues, advance quality systems and tools, support APQP and new program launches, conduct audits, drive cost-of-quality improvements, provide plant support and problem solving, and manage related budgets and regional performance tracking.

Operate hi-lo forklifts and overhead cranes, handle and record materials, follow safety protocols and 5S, perform routine equipment checks, maintain housekeeping, and manage inventory using FIFO and Plexus (or similar) systems in an automotive manufacturing environment.

The Quality Tech inspects materials and products, conducts tests, documents results, mentors junior staff, and ensures compliance with quality standards.

Support plant financial controlling: prepare monthly performance reports, budgeting and forecasting, cost and variance analysis, track KPIs and inventory valuation, assist month-end close, partner with operations on cost improvements and ad-hoc financial analyses to support decision-making.

Program, set up, and operate multi-machine CNC cells; read blueprints and GD&T; perform first-piece inspections and in-process checks; adjust programs/offsets; troubleshoot tooling; follow workflow to produce precision parts to tight tolerances.

Set up, program, operate, and maintain wire and conventional EDM equipment. Perform complex bench and machine operations to build, alter, and repair tooling, dies, fixtures, molds, gauges, and assemblies. Lay out work, perform precise measurements, improvise tooling for difficult setups, and train lower-skilled toolmakers. Meet physical demands of manufacturing work.

Manage timely material movements and subcontracting operations, ensure proper shipment/receipt, dispose scrap/non-moving parts, maintain documentation and compliance with excise laws and quality/environmental standards, drive 5S and continuous improvement, and lead/motivate team and subcontractors to meet production schedules and cost-reduction initiatives.

Develops, implements, and manages training programs and certification processes for manufacturing employees. Conducts needs assessments, creates instructional materials, delivers in-person and virtual training, tracks certifications, evaluates training effectiveness, maintains training records, ensures regulatory compliance (OSHA/ISO/IATF), and supports onboarding.

Support development, coordination, and administration of training and certification programs at the El Carmen manufacturing facility. Duties include creating/updating training materials, scheduling sessions, maintaining records, administering assessments, supporting onboarding, collaborating with SMEs, and performing related administrative tasks.

Lead supplier risk identification, assessment, and mitigation for direct material suppliers. Coordinate with Procurement, SQE, SCM, and Finance; run risk reviews, maintain risk profiles and dashboards, produce executive reports, support supplier audits, and improve multi-tier supply chain transparency and tools.
