We are recruiting a Third Party Supplier Oversight Manager to join our Chief Operating Officer team. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience of managing third-party suppliers, service performance and contractual governance within a complex organisation. Reporting to Paul Brady, you will manage key supplier relationships supporting our Private Markets business, ensuring outsourced services meet contractual requirements, deliver value and operate within an effective risk and governance framework.

With a global remit spanning operations, transformation and technology, our Chief Operating Officer team helps ensure an exceptional client experience. Whether it is optimising key processes, managing relationships with strategic partners, launching innovative new products or onboarding clients seamlessly, every project is an opportunity to drive efficiency and innovation at scale.

A bit about the role

You will manage the day-to-day relationships and contractual governance arrangements for outsourced Private Markets service providers, including private markets provider(s) and other partners. You will monitor supplier performance against agreed service levels and key performance indicators, oversee queries and issues, and work with internal service leads to identify and resolve emerging concerns. You will also ensure supplier risks and controls are managed effectively, invoices and service credits are handled accurately, and appropriate governance reporting and meetings are in place. Through continuous improvement and constructive supplier engagement, you will help improve service quality, manage costs and deliver lasting value for Aviva Investors and its customers.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

  • Experience of managing third-party supplier relationships, contractual governance and service performance within a complex business environment.

  • Strong understanding of service-level agreements, key performance indicators, supplier invoices, contractual rate cards and service-credit arrangements.

  • Ability to identify, manage and escalate supplier, operational and service-delivery risks, ensuring appropriate controls and corrective actions are in place.

  • Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across internal teams and external service providers.

  • A continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities to enhance service quality, operating processes, costs and fees. A degree in business management or a similar subject may be beneficial, but equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
