Your Impact

As a Manufacturing Test Development Engineer, you will lead the end-to-end test strategy for Cisco's next-generation hyper-scaler AI high-end routers, from Design for Testability (DFT) assessments through to mass production readiness. Drive the development and deployment of board and system-level automated functional test processes at contract manufacturing sites globally, ensuring maximum test coverage and manufacturing efficiency. Develop robust Python-based test automation scripts and leverage data analytics to continuously improve test capacity, yield, and overall product quality. Serve as the expert resource for product failure analysis and fault isolation, guiding debug processes at both component and system level to accelerate resolution. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams across Hardware, Software, and Supply Chain to coordinate proto-build support and ensure seamless production ramp.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or Computer Science Engineering
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in product test and validation within a multinational corporate environment Solid understanding of hardware development processes from concept through end-of-life, including manufacturing test solutions such as ICT and Boundary Scan (BSCAN)
  • Proficiency in Ethernet technologies (10/100/400/800G) and hardware protocols including I2C, SPI, PCIe, and SerDes
  • Advanced Python scripting skills with demonstrated experience developing automated test frameworks and analytics-driven improvement processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience specifying, developing, and procuring test fixtures and traffic test solutions including Spirent or IXIA for high-speed interface validation
  • Proven track record to lead Design for Testability (DFT) assessments and define risk mitigation plans in partnership with hardware and software engineering teams
  • Experience supporting proto-builds and driving mass production readiness across globally distributed contract manufacturing sites
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, resolve technical conflicts, and make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Dedicated and adaptable, with a track record of effective collaboration across global time zones
