Role
We are looking for a Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our team. This is an on-site role based in Wroclaw, reporting to the Manager, Technical Support within the Support department. A Senior Technical Support Engineer serves as a high-level technical expert who resolves complex customer issues, ensures the reliability and performance of Zscaler solutions. The role’s overall impact is to strengthen customer trust, reduce downtime, and help customers achieve secure, effective use of Zscaler’s cloud security platform.
What you’ll do (Role Expectations)
- Provide second line phone/email consultation to independently debug complex security/network problems
- Work with Engineering and assist the customer with testing or troubleshooting
- Reproduce customer issues to verify problems and provide feedback to Engineering and Operations team
- Create entries in our technical support online database to document any incident resolution that is not found in our knowledge base
- Promote a team environment by assisting and contributing to fellow Zscaler employees whenever necessary to enhance the professional development of everyone

What We’re Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- 1+ years of experience with Networking
- Network transformation technologies such as MPLS, SD-WAN or WAN Optimization
- The ability to read packet captures
- Troubleshooting knowledge, design and implementation experience
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- A background in Internet and Security technologies such as SWG, Sandboxing, Firewalls, DLP, and VPNs
- A vendor certification such as CCNA or equivalent
- A detailed working knowledge of web based security and network infrastructure, Security Proxies, such as NGFW, SSL/IPSec VPNs, and Firewalls

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and determined by role and level. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base salaries for this position across all Poland locations. Individual pay placement within this range is determined based on objective, gender-neutral criteria including job-related skills, relevant experience, and education or training. The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/bonus/equity (if applicable) and benefits.
