About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager – Crushing Equipment to drive the growth of our crushing equipment and aftermarket business across the Asia Pacific region.

Reporting into the regional sales team, you will combine your technical expertise with commercial acumen to develop customer-focused solutions that improve plant performance and maximise operational value. Working closely with mine sites, engineering companies, quarries and internal stakeholders, you'll help customers optimise their crushing circuits through the sale of capital equipment, wear parts and lifecycle services.

This is a regional role with regular travel throughout Asia Pacific.

What you will be doing

As our Technical Sales Manager, you will:

  • Build strong relationships with customers and identify opportunities to improve plant performance through FLS crushing solutions.

  • Drive sales of crushing equipment, wear parts, upgrades and aftermarket service offerings.

  • Conduct site visits to evaluate crushing circuits, identify bottlenecks and recommend practical technical solutions.

  • Prepare technical proposals, equipment sizing, commercial quotations and tender submissions.

  • Support contract negotiations and deliver value-based sales presentations.

  • Recommend equipment solutions based on ore characteristics, throughput requirements and downstream processing needs.

  • Review engineering drawings, process flowsheets and equipment specifications.

  • Work closely with engineering, proposals, project delivery, service and aftermarket teams to ensure successful project execution.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer requirements to identify new business opportunities.

  • Represent FLSmidth at industry conferences, trade shows and technical events.

What you will bring

You'll be a technically capable sales professional with experience in crushing equipment and mineral processing, together with the ability to build trusted customer relationships.

You'll also have:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgy or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience).

  • 5–10 years' experience in technical sales, applications engineering or business development within crushing equipment, comminution or heavy industrial machinery.

  • Strong knowledge of jaw, cone, gyratory and other crushing equipment used in mining operations.

  • Understanding of crushing principles including reduction ratios, CSS/OSS, liner profiles and product grading.

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, process flowsheets and technical specifications.

  • Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Experience using CRM systems and equipment sizing or engineering software.

  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Asia Pacific region.
