The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a Supply Chain Subcontracts Team Lead for the Boeing MQ-28 Ghost Bat Supply Chain team.
The MQ-28 Ghost Bat Program is developing and producing the world-leading MQ-28 Ghost Bat uncrewed Collaborative Combat Aircraft. Within the MQ-28 Program, the Supply Chain Management supports the Program with all aspects of supplier commercial management, including creating and managing contracts, managing our supplier pipeline and warehousing support, and managing the supply chains that underpin the successful execution of the program.
Reporting to the Manager - MQ-28 Subcontracts, the Subcontracts Team Lead supports and guides the Subcontracts team in strategic contracting activities, negotiations, and complex contracting matters. The successful candidate will also contribute their supply chain subject matter expertise into business strategy, partnering and product roadmap activities. This is a key Subcontracts execution management role and we are seeking applicants who possess the following attributes:

Responsibilities
  • Managing and executing the contracting strategy across the MQ-28 Subcontracts portfolio;
  • Leading the development of sourcing strategies for all MQ-28 requirements;
  • Leading the creation and management of strategic supplier partnerships;
  • Managing the execution of the MQ28 Supply Chain Contracting Strategy;
  • Integrating with stakeholders across the Boeing division, and teams in Australia and the US.

Experience/Qualifications
  • 10 years + experience in a strategic supply chain environment. Manufacturing and production experience desirable;
  • Contracting experience with complex contracting and negotiation;
  • Tertiary or other formal qualifications and experience in a relevant field (desirable)
  • Experience in senior roles within a matrix organisation (desirable)
  • Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet defence security requirements.
