Responsibilities

  • Keep track of client’s operations, product performance, and utilization along with client’s feedback
  • Actively participate in client service quality meetings along with the technical support team.
  • Assist technical team with critical inputs on client’s requirement for product designing and improvement.
  • Ability to create and present presentations and techno-commercial proposals as per client’s requirement.
  • Work closely with the internal support team, subject matter experts, and operations team. 
  • Monitor and communicate the status of all orders to the customer; ensure the customer's account is current and assist AR with any past due accounts.
  • Maintain sales prospects and quotations pipeline and close those opportunities.
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence.
  • Actively keeping track of all the tenders and preparing effective submission responses adhering to timelines and market intelligence.
  • Gain knowledge of competitor activities, market offerings, and efforts – document and communicate the information accurately. 
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Contribute data to the Annual Financial Plan/Quarterly Sales Forecast and continually focus on meeting target requirements.
  • Develop and submit sales activity and market intelligence reports as needed for management. 
Qualifications

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree or MBA with specialization in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 05 years of experience in technical sales
  • Knowledge of drill bits, Coring, and Borehole Hole enlargement operations and related key deliverables is strongly preferred.
  • Strong technical and commercial background required.
  • Understands the broader upstream oil and gas market and possesses a deep understanding of the drilling industry – applications, equipment, and commercial in all aspects of the drilling market.
  • Displays the ability to maintain complex and fluid client relationships and projects and the ability to work at a fast pace.
  • A proven track record of being self-motivated and possessing sound decision-making. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to negotiate.
  • Having excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute under minimal supervision
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, etc.)
