What You'll Do

Own full-cycle technical recruiting end-to-end — from intake to offer. You'll be the person who keeps our hiring engine running across engineering, product, and growth functions.

Source where engineers actually are. LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, niche communities, referrals, events, and cold outreach. We don't believe in posting-and-praying. We believe in headhunting.

Partner closely with hiring managers. You'll work directly with the founder and engineering leads to turn vague role descriptions into sharp, well-scoped hiring plans — and then go find the people who fit them.

Screen for signal, not keywords. You'll be evaluating technical candidates, understanding the difference between orchestration-level AI work and core AI/research work, and mapping experience to what we actually need. You don't need to write code, but you need to be able to hold a credible technical conversation.

Run a fast, respectful process. Our technical rounds are fast — often a decision by end of week. You'll keep candidates engaged, informed, and moving without unnecessary friction.

Build and maintain talent pipelines. Not just for today's open roles, but for the next six months. You'll keep warm relationships with strong candidates we don't hire today but might want tomorrow.

Champion candidate experience. Every person who talks to Libra should walk away thinking better of us, whether or not they get an offer.

Leverage AI tools to move faster. We're an AI company — we expect you to use AI-assisted sourcing, screening, and search tools (including our own product) to multiply your output.

What We're Looking For

3+ years of technical recruiting experience, with a track record of hiring for roles like software engineers, ML/AI engineers, product managers, and designers at product companies or startups. Agency experience counts if the quality is there.

Strong technical intuition. You understand the difference between frontend, backend, full-stack, ML infrastructure, and AI research roles. You know what a vector database is, why RAG matters, and what makes an LLM agent "agentic" vs. a simple chatbot wrapper.

Exceptional sourcing skills. Boolean search, GitHub sourcing, LinkedIn Recruiter, cold outreach that actually gets responses. You've built pipelines from scratch, not just managed inbound.

Bias for action. You don't wait for permission to source a candidate. You see a gap, you fill it. You see a bottleneck, you fix it.

Builder mindset. Takes the work seriously, doesn't shy away from hard problems, and is open to picking up something new even without prior experience on paper. (This is what we look for in every hire at Libra — you should embody it too.)

Strong communicator. Clear, concise, and human in writing and speech. You can draft a cold outreach that doesn't sound like a template. You can deliver feedback to a candidate with empathy.

Comfortable with ambiguity. We're a startup. Roles evolve. Priorities shift. You should thrive in that environment, not be frustrated by it.

Nice to Have

  • Experience recruiting for AI/ML or infrastructure-heavy engineering teams

  • Familiarity with the Indian startup talent market and salary benchmarks

  • Experience using AI tools in the recruiting workflow (AI-assisted search, automated screening, etc.)

  • Existing network in the Bangalore/Indian tech ecosystem

  • Experience building employer brand through content, events, or community engagement

  • Strong written and verbal communication; empathetic candidate feedback and outreach
  • Bias for action, builder mindset, and comfort with ambiguity in a startup environment
  • Experience recruiting for AI/ML or infrastructure-heavy engineering teams
