Job Description

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for leading end to logistics automation projects – from initial concept to final implementation. Installation management and system troubleshooting for driven conveyors, VRCs, ASRSs and six-axis robots. Manage suppliers with a focus on safety. Effectively communicate technical details to a broad audience and prioritize technical issues as they arise.  Responsibilities will include the following:

  • Define project scope, goals, and work in alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams including engineering, IT, operations, procurement, and external suppliers.

  • Drive technology integration by introducing and implementing innovative automation solutions that improve factory efficiency.

  • Handle stakeholders and communication across global locations to ensure alignment, visibility, and progress tracking.

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on time and within scope.

  • Ensure compliance with internal standards, safety protocols, and industry regulations.

  • Continuously improve project delivery frameworks to increase efficiency and scalability of logistics automation initiatives.

  • Supervise and report on important metrics and return on investment of implemented solutions to demonstrate value and drive future investments.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in engineering or project management within a technical field is preferred.

  • Proven experience in manufacturing technology project management in a large scale.

  • Demonstrated experience in automation projects. 

  • Experience with shuttle racking, complex conveyor systems, washing equipment, racking, 6-axis robots, and/or vertical reciprocating conveyors is preferred

  • Demonstrated ability in managing suppliers of equipment and machinery

  • Intermediate knowledge of AutoCAD or other 2D design software.

  • Financial skills applied to budgeting and cost analysis.

  • Great communication skills – verbal and writing.

  • Focused, proactive and self-driven.

  • Available to travel internationally 50 – 60 days a year. (divided in several trips)

Compensation

The salary for this position has a range of $115,803.00 - $173,705.00 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. The LEGO Group carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, including but not limited to prior experience, skills, expertise, location, internal equity, and other considerations permitted by law. The comprehensive remuneration details, inclusive of benefits, will be communicated upon finalisation of the employment offer.
