As a Technical Platform Product Manager – Batch Fulfillment within Global Technology, Data & Analytics, you will define and drive the strategy for scalable, resilient, and efficient batch data processing capabilities. You’ll be responsible for enabling internal product and data teams to build, schedule, monitor, and optimize batch workflows across the enterprise. This role is highly cross-functional, requiring close collaboration with engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and data governance teams.
What You'll Bring:
- Deep understanding of batch processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, Azure Data Factory, etc.)
- Experience with data orchestration, scheduling, and dependency management in large-scale environments
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their native batch/data services
- Familiarity with data warehousing, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data lake architectures
- Understanding of data governance, lineage, and observability in batch systems
- Ability to read and understand code (e.g., Python, SQL, Java)
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and DevOps practices
- Product management skills with a focus on platform enablement and internal tooling
- Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or Aha!
- Strong prioritization, roadmapping, and stakeholder management skills
- 5–8 years in product management, with at least 3–5 years in a technical or platform-focused role
- Background in software engineering, data engineering, or computer science preferred
- Strategic thinking with a systems mindset and empathy for technical users
Impact You'll Make:
- Batch Platform Strategy & Roadmap: Define and evolve the vision for batch processing capabilities, including orchestration tools, scheduling frameworks, and operational dashboards
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with data engineering, infrastructure, and analytics teams to understand batch processing needs and translate them into platform features
- Technical Requirements: Gather and prioritize requirements for batch workflows, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with enterprise data strategy
- Lifecycle Management: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of batch platform features—from ideation and design to rollout and continuous improvement
- Metrics & Optimization: Define KPIs to measure platform performance, job success rates, latency, and user satisfaction; drive continuous optimization
