Job Responsibilities

The Technology & Data Solutions (TDS) business unit is the Syneos Health accelerator for life sciences innovation. TDS houses our advanced technology acquisitions, homegrown products & applications, actively participates in new M&A and partnership activities, delivers critical insights as part of our integrated strategy for customers and drives enterprise-wide adoption and change management for innovative tech & data solutions. Our work supports getting meaningful new medicines to patients faster, with greater positive impact. The Technical Project Manager I supports our business goals by helping control the scope, schedule and cost of assigned project(s). This position works with our development and product teams to deliver customized product experiences to our clients.

Core Responsibilities

Supports projects throughout entire execution to ensure success (includes adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timeline)

Work with the Technical Project Manager II to create comprehensive project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals and coordinate various managers and technical personnel during all project phases, from initial development through implementation.

Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables.

Work with internal and external clients on identifying problems, providing solutions, and implementing efficiencies.

Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes.

Support acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking with customers, team members, managers, and vendors.

Establish and implement training processes and strategies for assigned projects.

Analyze, plan, and review requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.

Participate in regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects.

Understand the deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management

Ability to work in areas outside of their usual comfort zone and love to learn new technologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills

Proficient with facilitating commission between clients and internal teams

Highly organized. Love to work with and refine existing processes as well as develop new ones.

Ability to multitask and work in a cross-functional team environment.

Years of Experience

Two (2) – three (3) years of project management experience
