At Range Operations Development - Engineering, we create the foundation for range and product development across Range Areas, aiming for better products at lower costs and faster market times. We maximize the deployment of platforms and standards, defining, developing, and operating a full portfolio of development capabilities within Engineering expertise.
Your Role We are seeking a Team Manager for our Engineering capability team, focusing on rolling out PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) and building granular data.
Responsibilities
- Lead and enable your team to perform their assignments according to IKEA values and business priorities.
- Guide the team through change in a complex business environment.
- Develop team competencies, manage recruitment, and ensure proactive succession.
- Implement unified ways of working, tools, and competencies in the business.
- Identify and lead the development of essential business capabilities to enhance performance.
- Contribute to the budgeting process by providing resource, development, investment, or service needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in leading similar roles.
- Ability to lead through change in complex business environments.
- Passion for coaching and challenging teams to achieve great results.
- Guided by IKEA values with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Commitment to continuous improvement.
- Understanding of IKEA business processes or relevant industry experience.
Additional Information
This is a permanent position based in Älmhult.
We offer flexibility with the option to work from home a couple of days a week.
