We are looking for a Product Requirement Engineer for our Bath textiles range that can translate customer’s expectations into technical requirements. You will be responsible to set existing and/or develop new product technical requirements, standards and test methods relevant to the product areas you are responsible for.


Job Description

As Product Requirement Engineer you will be part of product development team for bath textiles range as requirement specialist. Position is temporary for 15 months.

In this assignment your main responsibilities will be: 

  • Identify and assign relevant technical, legal or market specific requirements to products in development.
  •  Develop and maintain relevant to the product technical documentation-specifications, labels, test requirements, etc. and throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Develop durability and functional tests that resembles real life usage over the lifetime of the product.
  • Communicate and lead implementation of technical requirements/test methods to stakeholders such as product development team, engineers from Purchasing Organization, Test labs, suppliers.
  • Identify, evaluate and monitor performance of critical to product quality product parameters for specific product areas.
  • Based on product performance discover potentials for product safety, quality, sustainability, function and cost saving improves.


Qualifications

You have a passion to work with textiles, have University Degree in Textile Engineering or equivalent and a couple of years of experience from textile industry or product development of textile products. In the engineering field you are regarded as experienced with the ability to lead yourself, take responsibility and drive initiatives from start to finish. You have good analytical skills and high ability to coordinate, lead and inspire others. You have a passion for sharing knowledge and the ability to explain complex matters in an easy way. You are good at creating your own network and at working in teams and making things happen by involving and engaging people.

You have ability to run multiple projects simultaneously effectively, prioritize and delegate.

As English is our official business language you are expected to be fluent, both spoken and written.
