What you'll do:Design, develop software enhancements, new products and maintain software for Nonstop's platform product portfolio
Engage in the full product development lifecycle including specification, architecture, design, implementation, testing, and integration.
Contributions include applying developed subject matter expertise to solve common and sometimes complex technical problems and recommending alternatives where necessary
Collaborate with product management and cross-functional teams to define software functional specifications and system architecture.
Develops and analyzes design, determines coding and integration activities, writes and executes complete test plans required based on general objectives and knowledge of the overall architecture of the product or solution and uses AI effectively in the entire lifecycle.
Collaborates and communicates with all stakeholders effectively, representing the status, issue resolution for responsible scope
Provides guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members
What you need to bring:
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
Typically 5+ years experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
Expertise in multiple software systems design tools and languages. Advanced C/C++ programming and scripting skills
Strong knowledge of operating system concepts and system programming experience.
Hands-on experience in the design and development of system products and features (e.g. Filesystems, Kernel) on Linux or similar UNIX systems.
Good understanding of system design, programming
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Fundamentals of operating system and/or networking concepts
Software systems testing methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
