Role & Responsibilities:
Support system design for new proof of concept/prototype
Assist in translating user needs into high-level system requirements
Contribute to prototype development, integration, and testing activities
Create and maintain design documentation, block diagrams, interface definitions, and use cases
Participate in design discussions, feasibility analysis, and technical reviews
Help identify technical risks, assumptions, and design trade-offs
Strong documentation skills — ability to produce structured test reports, experiment logs, and result summaries
Document results, learnings, and recommendations from prototype evaluations
Qualifications/Requirements
B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Systems, Mechatronics, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
70% or 7 CGPA aggregate in the current degree.
No active backlogs at the time of application.
Willing to work in GE HealthCare premises during the internship.
Willing to work on any projects as assigned based on fitment and business need.
Familiarity with Excel/Google Sheets, Python, or MATLAB for experiment logging, data analysis, and plotting
Desired Characteristics
Strong interest in system design, prototyping, and product development
Academic/project experience in prototype building, integration, testing, or multidisciplinary engineering preferred
Ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
Exposure to testing, debugging, and performance evaluation
Hands-on experience with programming is a plus.
