Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America. By combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing, we help aerospace and defense companies build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost.
Following our $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding our manufacturing footprint, launching new capabilities across welding, casting, forging, electronics, additive manufacturing, and more, while scaling our Factory-as-a-Service platform to transform how critical products are built.
Backed by leading investors including JPMorgan Chase, Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, Founders Fund, 137 Ventures, Lux Capital, T. Rowe Price, and Morgan Stanley, we’re building the future of American manufacturing—and looking for exceptional people to help make it happen.
If you’re ready to take on the most challenging and rewarding work of your career while helping create American manufacturing jobs for generations to come, you’re exactly who we’re looking for.
As an IT Systems Administrator at our Torrance HQ, your week swings between three things: writing automation, running AV for company events, and picking up escalated service desk work. You are equally at home in a code editor, at the back of an all-hands running the show, and in a Jira ticket that no one else could crack.
Our conference and event stack standardizes on Microsoft Teams in a GCC High tenant. Experience with Zoom, Google Meet, or other platforms is welcome, since you will still touch them across guest events, partner meetings, and integrations.
What You'll DoAV
Manage our Microsoft Teams environment day to day.
Configure, set up, document, and run GCC High Teams meetings so the people on stage never have to think about it.
Run live AV, hands-on, for all-hands, large team meetings, podcasts, and other company events.
Own break-fix for our conference rooms, including Logitech, Crestron, Q-SYS, and similar room gear.
Assist in standing up new conference rooms. Spec equipment, work with vendors, and hand back a room that works.
IT
Build automation with an AI chatbot such as Serval. Wire it into our real systems so it actually deflects work.
Write code in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar to integrate systems and cut manual work.
Own ITSM workflows and integrations. Tune queues, forms, and automations so the service desk moves faster.
Serve as an escalation point for the service desk. Pick up the hard tickets, fix root causes, and write up what you learned.
Partner with Security, Infrastructure, and DevOps on the systems you touch.
5 or more years in IT, with real time as both a systems admin and an AV owner.
Hands-on live AV production. You have run all-hands, large team meetings, or podcasts end to end.
Deep experience with Microsoft Teams. GCC High experience is a plus. Working experience with Zoom, Google Meet, or other platforms is welcome.
Comfort with conference room gear: Logitech, Crestron, Q-SYS, and similar. You can troubleshoot a room without a manual.
Strong scripting or coding skills in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.
Working knowledge of ITSM platforms and ITSM automation. You have built or tuned real workflows, not just used them.
Experience building automations or chatbot flows with tools like Serval, Moveworks, or similar.
Comfort integrating systems through APIs, webhooks, and SDKs.
Comfort as an escalation point. You can pick up a stuck ticket, find the root cause, and coach the team through it.
Clear writer and calm communicator. You can brief an exec, hand off to the next tech, and write a clean runbook.
Able to work on-site at our Torrance, CA HQ. Some travel required.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move AV gear, racks, and hardware as needed.
Degree or coursework in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Prior software engineering work, even at a small scale.
Experience running IT or AV inside a Microsoft GCC High or other government cloud tenant.
AV certifications such as Crestron CTS, AVIXA CTS or CTS-I, Q-SYS Level 1/2, Dante Level 1/2, or Shure.
Live streaming and broadcast experience: OBS, vMix, Wirecast, ATEM, or similar switchers and encoders.
Networking depth: VLANs, QoS for voice and video, VPN, or Wi-Fi in a campus setting.
Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-171, or CMMC.
