What You will do :
Design and develop high-performance software for Aruba's enterprise WLAN Controller platforms.
Build and enhance forwarding plane/datapath infrastructure for scale, reliability, and performance.
Work across Linux systems, embedded software, networking protocols, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems.
Debug and optimize complex networking, performance, and scalability issues.
Develop solutions spanning on-prem appliances, virtualized environments, and public cloud deployments.
Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to shape the future of enterprise networking.
What you need to bring :
Experience: 3-8 years in Systems, Networking, Embedded, Infrastructure, or Cloud software development.
Strong expertise in:
C/C++ programming
Linux Systems Programming
Socket Programming
Multithreading & Concurrency
IPC, Shared Memory, Synchronization
System Calls & Debugging
TCP/IP Networking Fundamentals
Routing, Switching & Network Protocols
Performance Analysis & Troubleshooting

Skills Required
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Typically 4 to 15+ years experience in relevant software engineering roles
- System programming in Linux (multithreading, sockets, shared memory, system calls, synchronization)
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals and protocols
- Hands-on experience with debugging/forensic tools to isolate problems
- Expertise in one or more languages: Python, Go, Java, Scala, C/C++
- Knowledge of WLAN, dataplane, and NPU concepts
- Experience with virtualization, drivers, hypervisors (KVM/VMware), NFV, SDN, VMs, Docker
- Experience working in agile environments with CI/CD exposure
- Software testing methodology including test plan execution and debugging/testing scripts/tools
- Ability to communicate product architectures and design proposals to senior leadership
- WiFi-specific background
- History of innovation (patents or deployed solutions)
- Knowledge of performance and scale testing and measurement approaches
