We are seeking a skilled individual to join us in a dual role: General System Manager in the User Plane area and CT4 Back Office Specialist in the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Technical Specification Group CT, Working Group CT4. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with cutting-edge core network technologies and influence the future of mobile communications.

Key Responsibilities
General System Manager User Plane:• Traffic Management & Value-Added Functions: Manage traffic analysis, classification, enforcement, reporting, and optimizations, including NAT and security enhancements.• Develop and maintain system requirements, taking ownership of selected system artifacts to ensure accuracy.• Conduct system studies within your competence area, ensuring compliance with standards.• Support development teams with feature system views during feature development.• Review and approve CPI on area and feature levels.• Support customers through market support in sales and maintenance processes.
3GPP Standardization CT4 Back Office Specialist:• Support the CT4 Delegate by assisting in preparing for and participating in 3GPP CT4 meetings, including researching relevant documentation, drafting contributions, and managing follow-up actions.• Analyze existing and proposed 3GPP protocol specifications to assess their impact on Packet Core products and services. Assist in preparing internal and external documentation and reports.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, architecture, and product management, to ensure core network solutions align with 3GPP standards.• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and share insights from 3GPP activities.• Stay updated on trends and advancements in 3GPP standardization, focusing on core network protocols to maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications• Educational Background: Degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are advantageous.• Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of core network protocols and architectures, with deep familiarity in 3GPP standards and Packet Core technologies.• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex specifications and assess their impact on network design.• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders, with a collaborative spirit.• Problem-Solving Ability: Creative and efficient resolution of technical issues.
