About this Opportunity
We are seeking a highly experienced consultant to join Ericsson's Global Consulting organization, within the Network and B/OSS Transformation Consulting practice. This role requires a respected industry professional with deep expertise in Autonomous Networking as defined by TM Forum, 3GPP, and the core AN foundational capabilities.
You think from the client's perspective, thrive on solving complex problems, and excel at winning and delivering consulting projects. You are confident, insightful, and capable of guiding clients through difficult decisions. Beyond strong technical skills, you can model business value, redesign telecom operational processes, and quantify the impact of automation and autonomy. You work independently on new, unsolved problems yet collaborate effectively in teams tackling network-scale challenges. Clients trust you, remember you, and rely on your vendor-agnostic guidance.
As a Managing Consultant, you will lead and deliver consulting engagements, mentor junior consultants, and contribute to business development through proposals, presentations, and opportunity identification. Ericsson follows an "everyone sells" culture-consultants shape and evolve offerings aligned to market trends, from AN today to topics like 6G tomorrow.
The role is global and highly collaborative, involving close work with Ericsson teams across multiple business units and with clients worldwide. Some assignments may support internal solution development or value-argumentation initiatives. International travel at short notice is expected (typically 50-75% during normal conditions). While this is a global search, candidates in India and Spain are preferred.
What You Will Do
Operations Transformation Consulting
  • Provide expertise on challenges and impacts across mobile and cloud domains.
  • Apply experience from Network Operations Centers, Planning, or Engineering roles.
  • Deliver consulting engagements and transformation programs effectively.

Technology
  • Bring deep knowledge of industry standards and architectures across fixed and mobile networks.
  • Apply hands-on experience with AN foundational capabilities: data, inventory, cloud-native environments, service orchestration, AI/ML models and MLOps, intent-based operations, service management, agentic AI, and telecom operational processes.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in AI-driven or transformation consulting, with a strong understanding of Agentic AI.
  • Leverage familiarity with TM Forum frameworks (AN, eTOM, SID, TAM), 3GPP standards, and ITIL practices.
  • Utilize experience with automation technologies such as SMO, DevOps, Cloud-Native orchestration, Ansible, and RPA.

What You Will Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in network automation and transformation, including 3+ years in consulting roles involving sales and delivery of transformation programs.
  • Strong industry knowledge with a deep understanding of network autonomy concepts and evolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and engage senior-level stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; a Master's in Engineering or Business is a strong advantage.
