PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Define business problems, scope the analyses, and identify solutions in partnership with Supply Chain and various other financial and operational teams.
- Translate analyses into recommendations to improve Supply Chain functions through enhancements, self-service tools, or automation.
- Lead and support the measurement and communication of the causal impact of key initiatives on business planning and Supply Chain strategy.
- Support the process of continuous operational improvements, industry benchmarking and key performance indicator measurement to increase the effectiveness of the various Supply Chain functions.
- Support the development of Supply Chain business planning models and analytical tools.
- Develop effective leadership presentations and documents that clearly communicate results that align with business issues and challenges.
- Communicate complex information in a simple clear and concise way.
- Contribute to resolving cross functional implementation issues and challenges.
- Oversee the development of tools, tests, and dashboards to enable implementation of insights.
- Support testing, training, and development of new business practices.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum
- BS/BA in quantitative field strongly desired (i.e. statistics, QM, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, etc.) with 6 years of experience in a related field; OR 10 years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5 or more years of experience required developing and implementing analytical solutions in Finance, Marketing, Sales, or Supply Chain.
- Extensive knowledge and experience with BI / Analytical tools such as Python, R, Tableau, etc. as well as SQL and data manipulation. Excel and PowerPoint.
- Data warehousing, architecture, and governance experience to maintain and guidance on the strategic direction of an existing data warehouse.
- Extensive teamwork, communication, presentation, and time management skills (prioritization) to work effectively with teams throughout organization.
- Basic understanding of project and program management concepts and some experience with project management
- Advanced experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Preferred
- MS degree + 4 years of experience in quantitative field strongly desired (statistics, QM, Computer Science, Economics, Analytics, etc.); OR Ph.D. + 1 years of experience in a related discipline.
- Advanced degree in Business, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other analysis related fields preferred.
- Certification in CAP (Certified Analytics Professional) and/or SAS Foundation Certifications (Certified Base Programmer or Advanced Programmer) preferred.
- Experience within telecom, consumer package goods, retail, financial services, or consulting service preferred.
- Operational analytics including application for Finance, Business Ops, Field Operations, and Engineering / Outside Plant preferred.
USD 90,100.00 - 150,100.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
