KBR is providing Project Management Services encompassing Engineering, Procurement, phase execution supporting our client Sonangol’s multi-billion-dollar grass roots Lobito Refinery Project in Angola Africa.  KBR’s Project Management Team is responsible for the overall management of the Owner’s EPC Contractor’s contract.

KBR is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator to be the Project Management Company (PMC) representative.  This role will be assigned to PMC Angola based team.  This role will Performs full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work.

***This position will mobilize to Angola***

 Responsibilities:

• Perform full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work
• Qualify suppliers, issues requests for proposals, evaluates proposals, maintains subcontract files in accordance to established procedures
• Oversee and perform the full range of procurement and administration activities associated with subcontracting work on a project
• Under general direction, uses specialized knowledge or skills to solve complex and unique problems, or direct the daily activities of a business, technical support, or functional support team
• Establish priorities for the completion of assigned tasks
• Use judgment to interpret internal and external issues and develop best practices
• May direct resources, prioritize tasks and provide guidance to less experienced team members
• Rely upon experience, interpersonal skills, and broad knowledge of field to ensure task completion in compliance with policies, procedures, and business strategy
• All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in construction science, engineering, business, finance, supply chain, or a related field or equivalent work experience
• 5 + years of directly related experience
